Position summaryPerforms manual labor along a production line as well as pack items in a timely manner utilizing the least amount of time, motion, materials and space as possible.
Duties and responsibilities- Place items in bag in a neat, organized manner.
- Notify supervisor of any problems/concerns regarding item being packaged and when additional items are needed.
- Place bar-code sticker on bag in proper location.
- Assist other department personnel as time and knowledge permit.
- Participate in training and meetings as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees.
- Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.
- Must be able to sit over an 8 hour period.
- Must be able to reach and pick up various size items.
- On the job training provided.
