Donor Relations Associate

The Donor Relations Associate serves as a frontline contact for individuals and families with established funds at the Foundation. This role supports Donor Relations Officers (DROs) and the President in meeting the needs of fund holders and advisors. Responsibilities include data management, online fundholder access, and event support. The Associate collaborates across the organization to address donor relations needs, including working with the Program Department on Donor Advised Fund grantmaking, grantee site visits, and donor outreach related to granting opportunities.

The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina (CFWNC), founded in 1978, is a public charity dedicated to inspiring philanthropy and mobilizing resources to enrich lives and communities across eighteen counties in Western North Carolina, including the Qualla Boundary. CFWNC manages charitable funds for individuals, businesses, and organizations, and makes grants to support regional needs and opportunities.
