Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

* Current RN license in the state of North Carolina

* Experience in stepdown unit nursing or medical-surgical nursing with a focus on critical care patients

* Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team

* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Responsibilities:

* Monitor and provide care to patients transitioning from intensive care units

* Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes

* Maintain accurate patient records and document changes in condition

* Educate patients and families regarding care plans and procedures
