American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a night shift position requiring PALS, BLS, and pediatric hospital experience.

• Combined 19-bed Pediatrics and Oncology unit with 13 pediatric beds and 6 oncology beds
• Staffed with 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RT, and 1 PCT per shift, with at least 1 oncology nurse on duty daily
• Patient ratios range from 1:3 to 1:5
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Uses Alaris pumps and Cerner EMR
• Floating required to PICU and NICU as needed
• Requires 6 weekend shifts with 2 falling on Saturdays

• Active RN license (NC or compact)
• Current BLS and PALS certification required
• APHON certification required for oncology assignments
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Pediatric hospital experience required
• Pediatric oncology experience preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Provide nursing care across both pediatric and oncology patient populations
• Detail-oriented and organized candidates preferred
• Scrub color requirement: all navy, all white, or a combination of navy and white
• Tobacco use prohibited on all campus properties including personal vehicles
• Orientation includes a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
