Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; scheduling based on departmental needs; no block scheduling available

• 101-bed Emergency Department serving as a regional referral center for Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke care
• Patient ratios of 4:1 (medical) with support from ED technicians, unit clerks, and cardiac monitoring staff
• High-volume emergency department with over 100,000 annual visits serving a diverse, multi-cultural community
• Magnet-designated facility recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals and awarded an "A" Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade
• Cerner EMR with state-of-the-art equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Opportunity to work in all sections of the Emergency Department with a cohesive, welcoming team known for exceptional teamwork

• Current Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
• Preferred:
  Experience in Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and high-volume ED (100,000+ visits)
• Required certifications prior to start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification within 90 days of hire
• Strong teamwork mentality with ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department
