American Traveler is hiring an RN
- Telemetry for a trauma Med/Surg unit requiring BLS certification and prior telemetry experience.

• Work on a 36-bed Trauma Telemetry Med/Surg unit
• Day shift ratios of 1:5-6 and night shift ratios of 1:6-7
• Shift hours run 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Uses Cerner EMR and Cerner Patient Observation (CPO) system
• Medical remote telemetry monitoring equipment and VC150 units in every patient room
• Workstations on wheels with tap-and-go documentation access for every staff member
• Floating required to sister Med-Surg units (3W, 5W, K8)
• Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday counting as weekend shifts on night shift

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required for Tele unit placement
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including recent telemetry experience
• CMSRN certification encouraged
• BSN preferred
• Leadership or Charge Nurse experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)

• Prepare patients for Endoscopy, IR, and OR procedures as part of daily unit duties
• Team includes charge nurse, RNs, CNAs, HUC, and sitters on each shift
• Scrub attire required: navy blue top and bottom, white top with navy blue bottom, or all white
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Best suited for hard-working, compassionate, team-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment
