We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our team in a full‑time capacity. This on‑site position is based in the Greater Asheville area. Responsibilities include assisting with animal care tasks, supporting veterinarians during procedures, providing pre‑ and post‑treatment education to clients, prepping for ophthalmic surgical procedures, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both pets and staff.

This role requires compassion, strong communication skills, and a commitment to high‑quality veterinary care.

• Proficiency in animal care, including handling, feeding, and providing comfort for animals
• Knowledge of veterinary technology and experience supporting medical procedures
• Strong communication skills for client education on pet eye health and post‑treatment care
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced clinical environment
• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred
