Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and quality assurance sector, is seeking a QA Technician to join their team. As a QA Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production and internal teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Technician

Location: Asheville, North Carolina (100% on site)

Pay Range: $20 p/h on W-2
Shift 1st shift starts at 6am
Duration: 6 month contract

What's the Job?

  • Ensure compliance with cGMPs and regulatory requirements related to inspections and part qualifications.
  • Serve as a GMP resource to Production and other internal teams, preventing regulatory liabilities and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Perform First Article Inspections using various methodologies and tools such as calipers and CMM.
  • Perform data entry for NCM and MRB items as needed, tracking and trending NCM data for site leaders.
  • Conduct incoming inspections promptly to support production needs and adhere to all safety protocols and training requirements.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance within a GMP environment required.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints required.
  • Proficiency with metrology equipment required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail essential for success.
