This entry‑level financial services position earns a competitive salary of $42,000 per year (paid hourly), plus an uncapped monthly bonus that averages $8,000 annually.

Day in the Life of an Assistant Branch Manager

We give you all of the tools you need to succeed and grow into a Branch Manager position. As an entry‑level ABM, you will go through an 18–24 month on‑the‑job paid training program in which you learn all of the ins and outs of branch operations and management. Then you apply that knowledge and manage your own branch. Promotion typically requires relocation, but we provide a full relocation package for ABMs promoted to Branch Managers.

You will help customers meet their financial goals by originating new loan business, contacting current and potential customers, and recommending the best consumer loan and voluntary product solutions for them. You will also educate customers on all of our consumer lending services, guide them through the loan application process, and make payment reminder calls when needed.

You handle a variety of tasks that support the branch’s success, including evaluating loan applications, performing risk analysis, making credit decisions, administering loan closings, and processing insurance claims. Your management abilities shine as you assist the Branch Manager with recruiting, training, and developing plans to meet sales goals while promoting our core values and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Origin new loans by contacting and engaging current and potential customers.
  • Recommend appropriate consumer loan and voluntary product solutions based on customer needs.
  • Educate customers on lending services and help them improve credit and consolidate debt.
  • Guide customers through the loan application process and follow up with payment reminder calls.
  • Evaluate loan applications, perform risk analysis, and make credit decisions.
  • Administer loan closings and process insurance claims.
  • Assist the Branch Manager with recruiting, training, and implementing plans to meet sales goals.
  • Promote core values and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; ideal majors include Business, Finance, Sales, or a related field.
  • 1 year or more of customer‑facing sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong communication and customer‑relations skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a fast‑paced team, navigating priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
  • Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.
  • Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion to a Branch Manager role; a full relocation package is provided for moves of more than 50 miles.
