Neuroscience Sales Specialist - WE CONTINUE TO GROW - NEW PRODUCT INDICATION - Asheville, North Carolina
Intra-Cellular Therapies Inc. a Johnson & Johnson ("J&J") company, is expanding its CNS portfolio and seeks a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to support growth in psychiatry.
Job Responsibilities- Drive sales performance to ensure forecasts are met or exceeded within assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers, both in-person and virtually.
- Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customers’ needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and routinely share this information with internal stakeholders.
- Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region, selecting appropriate programs/resources for each customer.
- Work with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives.
- Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and sharing best practices.
- Accountable for providing timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
- Build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources and products.
- Complete all required training within the required timelines.

- 2+ years of previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.
- Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers; patient‑centricity.
- High integrity and adherence to company compliance policies and procedures.
- Strong self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial thirst, excellent decision‑making judgment, strong teaming/collaboration and cross‑functional skills.
- Proven track record of success learning and adapting to evolving environments.
- Agile and able to adapt to changing telemedicine/virtual environments.
- Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities.
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse audience.
- Work hours may include outside normal hours; some overnight travel may be required; domestic travel to corporate headquarters and training meetings may also be required.

Salary range for this position: $98,000 - $155,000
