We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining safety and security for our clients. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Security Officer will be tasked with protecting property, personnel, and assets while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools.
- Enforce policies and procedures related to safety and security.
- Provide conflict management support during incidents involving personnel or visitors.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Valid North Carolina armed security officer license or certification required.
