We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenter’s Helper to join our growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in the construction industry. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and gain valuable hands‑on experience in the carpentry field. As a Carpenter’s Helper, you will work as part of a team under the guidance of a Crew Leader and a Journeyman Carpenter.

• Assist on the Jobsite, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
• Support remodeling and restoration projects by preparing work areas and assisting with demolition.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
• Help with heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed on job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follow instructions from lead carpenters to ensure project specifications are met accurately.

• Must live within 35 minutes of Asheville.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques.
• Be equipped with a basic tool set.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Experience with hand tools commonly used in carpentry work.
• Ability to lift, load, and unload heavy construction materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Great attitude and willingness to learn new skills and techniques in the carpentry field with an open mind.
• This position will require a significant amount of driving so any candidate must possess and maintain a valid NC driver’s license throughout their employment.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

• Pay: $16-$19/hour, based on experience and skill set.
