Residential Electrical Supervisor Position Overview
As a multi‑family Residential Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our residential electrical services in the Asheville, NC area. You will lead a team of electricians, coordinate projects, and ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You historically provide technical guidance, manage resources, and maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership:
- Project Management:
Plan, organize, and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. - Quality Assurance:
Ensure all electrical work meets quality standards, codes, and regulations. - Client Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact for residential clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience. - Technical Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and assistance, troubleshoot complex problems, and ensure proper installation and operation of electrical systems. - Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols, conduct meetings, and maintain compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. - Inventory Management:
Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies for projects. - Training and Development:
Identify prism training needs and facilitate training programs to advance team skills. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains and implement best practices. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including work orders, invoices, and permits.
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Proven experience as a multi‑family residential electrician, minimum five years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Valid electrician license and certification (where applicable).
- Strong technical knowledge of residential electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Commitment to safety and qualitynullable.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
