Residential Electrical Supervisor Position Overview

As a multi‑family Residential Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our residential electrical services in the Asheville, NC area. You will lead a team of electricians, coordinate projects, and ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You historically provide technical guidance, manage resources, and maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Project Management:
  Plan, organize, and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Quality Assurance:
  Ensure all electrical work meets quality standards, codes, and regulations.
• Client Communication:
  Serve as the main point of contact for residential clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
• Technical Expertise:
  Provide technical guidance and assistance, troubleshoot complex problems, and ensure proper installation and operation of electrical systems.
• Safety Compliance:
  Enforce safety protocols, conduct meetings, and maintain compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Inventory Management:
  Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies for projects.
• Training and Development:
  Identify prism training needs and facilitate training programs to advance team skills.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains and implement best practices.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including work orders, invoices, and permits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a multi‑family residential electrician, minimum five years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Valid electrician license and certification (where applicable).
• Strong technical knowledge of residential electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Commitment to safety and qualitynullable.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
