Transport Clerk

One Place Solutions are currently looking for Transport Admin Clerks for our client based  client are a leading distributor for car parts in the UK & Europe. As a Transport Admin Clerk you will be responsible for the following daily tasks:

Job Duties:

Inputting inbound & outbound driver details into system. First point of contact both in office and on phone. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to details. Brief and debrief drivers at the start and finish of shifts. Good communication skills in person, via telephone and radio. Previous experience of using Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel essential, as simple but accurate data entry is required to update records.

Ensure driver bags are complete with keys/paperwork and update if necessary Communicate any issues via email to branch network or to management, escalate any serious issues directly to management. Previous transport knowledge is desirable but not essential. Liaising with drivers on routes and providing guidance. Communicating with management daily. Printing and completing basic admin duties. Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 21:30pm until 6am Salary: £30,000 Salary
