Ashford Salary: £36,182 basic OTE: £43,829 based on time saved and team profit
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8 - 6, 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis Reference: 31508 Service Technician Company Benefits 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service Manufacturer accreditation and technical training Electric and Hybrid Vehicle training Structured career development and progression Life assurance Contributory pension scheme Tool insurance Vehicle servicing and purchase discounts Shopping and lifestyle discounts Employee wellbeing support Modern workshop with specialist diagnostic equipment and tooling Service Technician Role Carry out vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance Complete mechanical repairs including routine maintenance and cambelt replacement Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment Complete warranty and authorised repair work Carry out electronic vehicle health checks and identify additional work Complete digital job cards and technical write-ups accurately Work closely with Master, Diagnostic and Service Technicians to maintain workshop standards Service Technician Requirements Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent essential Previous experience as a Service Technician, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic Strong servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repair experience
Experience with warranty work is advantageous Good understanding of vehicle diagnostic and repair procedures MOT Licence is advantageous but not essential training can be provided Electric and Hybrid Vehicle experience is advantageous Strong teamwork skills with a focus on safety, process and quality Right to work in the UK
