Full-time We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Ashford , starting as soon as possible . The successful candidate will be supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2 , helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and independence, and thrive within the school environment. The ideal candidate will have:
Previous SEN experience , ideally within a school setting Relevant experience and/or qualifications in education, childcare or SEN Strong behaviour management skills Excellent communication skills A calm, patient and nurturing approach Confidence supporting pupils with a range of additional needs The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Flexibility to work across KS1 and/or KS2 A positive and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with different needs Driving is preferred , although candidates who can reliably travel to the school by public transport will be considered Safeguarding Requirements:
