You will work closely with project managers, clients, and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities Design, install, test, and commission renewable energy systems. Conduct site surveys and technical assessments. Prepare electrical designs, schematics, and technical documentation. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and system performance issues. Ensure all installations comply with current electrical regulations and industry standards. Carry out maintenance and inspection work on renewable energy assets. Support project planning, delivery, and completion activities. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams throughout project life cycles.
Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and testing. Requirements Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical certifications. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent desirable). Experience working with solar PV, battery storage, EV charging systems, or other renewable technologies. Strong understanding of electrical systems, fault finding, and commissioning. Full UK driving licence.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Skills Solar PV installation and commissioning experience.
Experience with battery energy storage systems. Knowledge of renewable energy regulations and industry standards. ECS Card. Experience using design software and monitoring platforms.
