Youll manage our team to provide person-centred and strengths-based support to our customer (S) and help them reach their full potential. S has complex needs including a moderate learning disability, autism, Non-Verbal, some sensory processing challenges. They are early 20s and are outgoing, cheeky and enjoys being outside in the garden. S has some sensory processing difficulties, and likes to touch items, moving them between their hands to meet the needs, firm favourites are socks, sand and bubbles.

What youll do Youll manage a team of PBS Support Workers centred around a customer with complex presentation. You and your team will support customers with any aspect of their day-to-day living. Youll work in a person-centred, strengths-based and psychologically informed way, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life Youll be in regular contact with your manager updating, escalating and reporting on all aspects of the service delivery.

Youll be responsible for planning and overseeing complex support working with customers who display behaviours of concern and may require personal care working alongside Home Groups local multi-disciplinary team Motivating, directing, guiding, coaching and supporting your team to work with our customers. Be part of one of the UKs top 10 Great Places to Work! You have Experience in CQC Regulated services, a Level 4 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent or prepared to work towards it. Worked as a Senior Support Worker, leading support for people with complex needs, or behaviours of distress. A patient and calm approach, able to adapt your style to X's needs, as well as to the specific occasion and circumstances, even when they challenge us.

Great people management and motivation skills, bringing colleagues together to share information, best practice and fostering creativity.

Experience of positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues. To help S get out and about, youll need to be able to drive a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage! Ideally got Makaton, but thats not a deal breaker!
