Clinical Advisor NHS 111
Location:
Ashford, Kent
Job Type: Locum clinical advisor covering NHS 111 call centre.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance in line with the clinical Pathways system.
- Assess and triage patients over the telephone, making appropriate referrals as required.
- Participate in out of hours work to support and monitor the clinical workforce.
Qualifications:
- Clinical registration either NMC or HCPC.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Successfully completed training for NHS Pathways.
- Have taken a 111 call in the last 6 months.
Working hours:
- The centre is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Shifts range from short 6 hour days to long 12 hour shifts, covering 7 days a week, including days and nights.
