Deputy Manager | Elderly Care Home

Hours: Monday–Friday (40 hours) with occasional weekend spot checks

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a growing, family-led care provider to recruit a Deputy Manager for a beautiful medium sized residential and dementia service based near the Kent coast.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-quality home offering exceptional facilities, a strong wellbeing-led care model, and genuine long-term progression within an expanding group.

This role is fully supernumerary, focused on leadership, governance, team development and maintaining high standards of care.

The successful Deputy Manager will:

• Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service
• Drive high standards of care and compliance
• Oversee audits, governance and quality assurance
• Mentor and develop the wider care team
• Promote a positive, family-centred culture

• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager within a care home setting (essential)
• Commissioning experience highly desirable
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and nurture a new team
• Experience with in residential and dementia care
• Not suitable for step-up candidates
• Not suitable for hospital/community-only backgrounds

  Microsoft Teams interview
• Stage 2:
  Face-to-face interview with Home Manager, HR and Operations

The home is based near the Aldington area and is easily commutable from Folkestone, Saltwood, Dymchurch, New Romney, Lympne, Ashford, Sandgate, Hawkinge and Sellindge.
