Blue Arrow is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing client for Manufacturing Support Operatives with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence . This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established site offering regular overtime, shift allowances and long-term career prospects. Based on the client information and job description provided. Shift Pattern You will work a rotating shift pattern: 2 weeks:
Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:00 2 weeks:
Monday-Friday, 14:00-22:00 2 weeks:
Monday-Thursday, 22:00-06:00 The night shift operates over four nights, with employees paid for five, providing an additional shift allowance benefit. Overtime is available and paid at enhanced rates.
The Role This is a predominantly FLT-based position with some manufacturing support duties.
Responsibilities include:
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently Transporting raw materials, pallets, drums and IBC containers around site Loading and unloading vehicles Supporting production areas with materials replenishment Carrying out daily FLT safety checks Managing waste and housekeeping activities Operating industrial washing equipment for manufacturing utensils Ensuring high standards of health, safety and GMP compliance Maintaining clean and organised working areas at all times What We're Looking For Essential:
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence Full UK driving licence Good attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time management skills Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties Flexible approach to work and shifts Desirable:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or GMP Benefits Competitive salary Paid shift allowance on nights Regular overtime opportunities Enhanced overtime rates: 1.25x Monday-Friday 1.5x Saturdays until midday 2x Saturdays after midday through to Monday 06:00 Long-term career opportunities Full training and support provided If you hold a Counterbalance FLT licence and are looking for a varied role within a busy manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
