Join Our Team as a Product Technologist! Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of food safety and quality assurance? Sysco is on the lookout for a Product Technologist to join our dynamic European Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Senior EU HUB FSQA Technical Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality, safety, and regulatory standards across European markets.

As a Product Technologist, you will collaborate closely with EU FSQA Managers, Category Managers, and suppliers to maintain supplier and product information. Ensure compliance requirements are met and technical data is accurately maintained. Manage technical databases and monitor supplier certification status. Support the delivery of quality and food safety standards across the business.
This role offers hybrid working from our Ashford office, so being within a commutable distance to Ashford is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Monitoring GFSI certification status, supplier audits, SEDEX membership, and performance scorecards.
- Conducting specification reviews, artwork approvals, product quality assessments, and pack copy generation.
- Providing technical support for supplier queries, complaint investigations, and specification audits.
- Maintaining technical trackers and supporting the progression of specifications and artwork through agreed processes.
- A technical background in food service, food manufacturing, or a fast-paced QA/QC environment.
- A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- A solid understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and supplier compliance processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across multiple countries and functions.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Professional working proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus!
