Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £14.18 an hour; this increases to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12).
We schedule contracted hours within the listed availability windows, providing 3 weeks' notice of shifts. Flexibility is supported if your available times closely match our windows.

As the face of Tesco on the road, you will drive from Lands' End to John O'Groats, meeting customers daily and delivering great service with a smile.
Role includes on‑hand, physical tasks with a varied day, supported by a team of managers and colleagues at base.
Responsibilities- Ensure the van and trays are clean and organised.
- Maintain a tidy back yard, removing litter where seen.
- Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
- Load the van as required, checking for roadworthiness.
- Communicate with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds.
- Care for products/deliveries as if they were my own.
- Explain that customers will not be charged extra for substitutions.
- Deliver during the customer's time slot.
- Call the customer before arriving if early.
- Call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit.
- Be warm and welcoming, taking time to understand the customer and say thank you.
- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change within the store.
- Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations, balancing home and work.
- Share ideas with the manager and colleagues on improving customer experience.
- A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic only) held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
