Location: Ashington
Hours: 08:30–15:30, Monday–Friday
Setting: Specialist SEND Base within a Mainstream Primary School

A fantastic primary school in Ashington is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher to join their specialist SEND base. This provision supports pupils aged 4–7 with EHCPs and significant special educational needs
, providing a nurturing and structured environment tailored to each child.

• Full-time SEND teaching position within a specialist base
• Teaching and managing a mixed-age group of pupils with a range of complex needs
• Working closely with a supportive team consisting of 1 Teacher and multiple Teaching Assistants
• Planning and delivering personalised learning, in collaboration with SENCO
• Creating an inclusive, positive and safe learning environment

• Experienced SEND Teacher with a strong understanding of complex needs
• Confident in managing mixed-age classes
• Skilled in differentiation, behaviour support and personalised learning
• Compassionate, patient and committed to supporting each child’s progress
• Able to work effectively within a team and communicate well with staff and families

• A highly supportive and welcoming SEND team
