Stud Equine Veterinary Surgeon

Seasonal Stud Veterinarian

Dates: 1 March 2026 – 31 August 2026

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic veterinarian with experience in equine stud medicine to join our stud team for the 2026 breeding season.

Responsibilities

• Artificial insemination with fresh and frozen semen
• Embryo transfer
• Ovum pick-up (OPU)
• Routine stallion semen collection and freezing
• Foal medicine and young stock management

You will have the support of a Tier 3 hospital with board‑certified specialists in internal medicine, theriogenology and surgery.

You will do a share of the on‑call rota for the weekends.

This is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to gain and expand experience in advanced reproductive techniques and foal management within a supportive, highly skilled team.

Salary

£0 – £48,000 a year (DOE). Up to £48,000 DOE.
