Overview

A caregiver will supervise all children assigned to them to ensure a child's safety and well-being while providing a clean, positive, and age-appropriate environment.

A caregiver will perform all duties necessary to the operation of the daycare which includes cleaning, preparing lesson plans, securing facilities, and any other various needs which may arise.

• Caregivers will supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being while providing a positive and age-appropriate environment.
• Caregivers will provide children with enriching activities set out in the lesson plans for your site.
• Caregivers will follow the daily schedule for your site.
• Caregivers will teach responsibility to the children by example and enforce rules fairly and consistently. You will reward good behavior with words of praise, stickers, etc.
• Caregivers shall at no time use negative reinforcement. This includes, but is not limited to, corporal punishment (spanking), verbal abuse, forcefully placing hands on a child, etc.
• Caregivers will ensure your area is neat and clean for the next day.
• Caregivers will follow all guidelines and requirements set forth in the Employee Handbook.
