HR GENERALIST

Responsibilities

The Human Resources Generalist is a full‑time position responsible for full‑cycle recruiting, employee engagement, new‑hire orientation, employment onboarding, records management, data integrity, tracking employee in‑services, and other duties as assigned. The HR Generalist will also manage the Health Stream training system, assigning annual training modules to existing and new‑hire employees.

Responsibilities include working in a team environment, providing administrative support to the Executive Committees and meetings, preparing and maintaining employee files, managing clearance/licensure renewals, employee trainings, and special projects.

Oak Plains Academy is a 98‑bed residential treatment program offering psychiatric residential treatment services to adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues. The campus, located 45 minutes from Nashville, Tennessee, spans 20 acres and features a full‑size gymnasium, dining hall, separate academic building, and four dormitories.

• Bachelor's degree with one to three years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
• Full‑cycle recruiter experience, including onboarding new employees; healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience mediating employee concerns and exercising sound professional judgment.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission and other federal, state and local health‑care regulations preferred.
• Excellent customer service, problem‑solving, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Flexible schedule.
