This is a highly responsible position in the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet. The employee is expected toperform all duties to the best of their ability, act in a responsible manner at all times, demonstrate leadership qualities, and treat all staff, youth, and persons with respect. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Serves as facility American Correctional Association (ACA) liaison; gathers, coordinates, compiles and reviews documents for ACA.
• Analyzes ACA documents to determine compliance for Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Helps develop SOP to ensure compliance with policies.
• Reviews, compiles and prepares operation records and reports.
• Maintains employee training records and requirements.
• Coordinates training for staff.
• Responds to verbal inquiries from general public and facility staff.

• EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
• EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR

  One year of professional, administrative, or business experience.

  Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
