This is more than turf management—it’s a chance to restore a legacy, build a team, and create a playing experience that draws golfers back season after season.
What You’ll Do:- Oversee all agronomic operations, including irrigation, fertilization, mowing, and pest control
- Collaborate with ownership and contractors on course restoration and infrastructure upgrades
- Recruit and manage grounds crew with a focus on safety, efficiency, and pride in workmanship
- Implement sustainable practices that balance playability with environmental stewardship
- Prepare the course for re-opening and maintain high level conditions thereafter
- Proven experience as a superintendent or assistant superintendent
- Deep knowledge of turfgrass science, irrigation systems, and equipment maintenance
- Strong leadership and communication skills—able to rally a team and work with stakeholders
- Passion for golf and a vision for what makes a course truly memorable
- GCSAA certification preferred but not required
