Salary - $35,000

Education Requirements: Victim Services Advocate Coordinator must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and university.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Advocacy, documentation, and case management of victims of rape, sexual abuse/assault, Prison Rape Elimination Act, Domestic Abuse, Intimate Partner Violence, Human Trafficking and Childhood Abuse.
  • Coordinate the program through recruitment, training, scheduling, and reviewing of advocates.
  • Develop a training module and appropriately document mandatory training hours for each advocate.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presentations.
  • Compile and report statistical data required internally within RTVS, KASAP, and VOCA regulations.
  • Relate in a non‑threatening manner to victims, communicate with them and members of their family, and work with other members of the family and staff in a cooperative manner.
  • Introduce new and innovative ideas into the operation of the program, maintaining calmness in a crisis situation, and act appropriately.
Skills / Knowledge
  • 40 hours of mandated training in rape and sexual assault, and 8 hours of continuing education annually on issues of rape and sexual abuse.
  • Training in domestic abuse, intimate partner violence, human trafficking, and childhood abuse in addition to rape and sexual abuse training.
Performance/Productivity Expectations
  • Certification/Licensure status meets requirements.
  • Maintain statistical data for RVS, KASAP, and VOCA reports.

This is a full‑time position.
