Pet Care Attendant - Ashland, MA

The Family Pet Hospital has been providing top-of-the-line, compassionate veterinary care in our community for 25 years. We specialize in proactive and comprehensive whole pet care to ensure long and healthy lives for the pets we care for and love. The role of the kennel attendant is to keep the facility immaculately clean and safe to ensure that our clients’ beloved animals enjoy their time with us, and are kept safe, clean, and well-fed.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Feeding and watering
• Playing and exercising our daycare and boarding dogs, and brushing the cats
• This position also includes helping our groomer keep the salon sanitary and helping with handling, bathing, drying, and brushing dogs

Skills and Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and meticulously, and be able to easily and confidently communicate with our clients to assure them that all of their wants and needs will be followed and their pets are in loving and competent hands
• If the candidate has experience in grooming, there may be an opportunity to expand our current grooming schedule as well!
