We have an opportunity for an Offerings Solution Manager to join our Ashland, OH team. You will be responsible for defining and executing the growth strategy for designated municipal markets within Pentair’s Flow Business. This role serves as the bridge between the market, customer, commercial teams, engineering, operations, and leadership to ensure Pentair’s offerings are aligned with the current and future needs of municipalities, utilities, engineers, contractors, and channel partners.

You will:

Own the growth strategy for assigned Municipal growth platforms.

Own the commercialization of new innovations, carrying them from concept through launch with the business case, value proposition, pricing, positioning, and launch readiness that turn new technology into revenue in the market.

Build and own product lifecycle plans for assigned offerings, covering roadmap, launch, growth, and end-of-life decisions that keep the portfolio competitive and profitable.

Develop solution frameworks that connect multiple products, technologies, and services into a compelling customer value proposition for municipal customers and applications.

Have a deep understanding of municipal end markets, customer needs, regulatory drivers, funding trends, competitive dynamics, and market growth opportunities.

Serve as the voice of the customer and market, translating insights from municipalities, utilities, engineers, contractors, and channel partners into business priorities, offering strategies, and growth initiatives.

Assess Pentair’s existing portfolio, acquired technologies, and emerging capabilities against current and future municipal customer needs, identifying opportunities to create differentiated solutions that accelerate growth.

Develop recommendations for new offerings, portfolio enhancements, partnerships, and future investment opportunities that strengthen Pentair’s Municipal position.

Lead the integration and commercialization of acquired products, technologies, and businesses within the broader Municipal and Flow portfolio.

Identify cross-selling, market expansion, and growth opportunities that accelerate adoption of Pentair’s municipal solutions.

Influence innovation priorities by bringing municipal customer, application, and market insights into strategic planning discussions.

Represent the Municipal market perspective in leadership discussions that help shape the long-term direction of the Flow business.
25% travel is required.

Key

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Strategic Marketing, Business Development, or a related discipline.

Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading others, formally or informally.

Experience developing market strategies and commercializing complex solutions in municipal, infrastructure, utility, water/wastewater, industrial, or adjacent markets.

Proven experience developing and executing growth strategies for products, solutions, markets, or customer segments.

Strong understanding of solution selling customer value proposition development, market segmentation, and customer-centric growth strategies.
