Akron Children's Pediatrics (ACP) brings pediatric primary care for babies, children, and teens to many northeast Ohio communities through our 40+ pediatric offices. We are seeking a full-time BE/BC pediatrician to join our newly acquired Ontario practice as they continue to grow. They are looking to add a pediatrician to the office of three experienced nurse practitioners. The practice has been providing excellent pediatric services in the community for over 20 years.
This opportunity includes after-hours call and Saturday office hours shared between providers. Calls reach the physician after screening by our after-hours nurse triage line which handles more than 90% of the calls.
This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
About the Practice and ModelOur offices follow standard hospital-based policies while retaining the local culture of each practice. Our physicians use EPIC as a system-wide electronic health record. Our primary care offices are PCMH certified. The Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care. PCMH helps build relationships between patients and their care teams, improves quality, patient experience, staff satisfaction, and can reduce health care costs.
