Job Description
The Admissions Representative - Undergraduate Admissions position assists prospective students and their parents interested in Ashland University through the enrollment process, and to coordinate all college fairs and travel for Undergraduate Admissions, and create communication for those who influence first‑year students.
Essential Position Duties- Serves as the primary contact for prospective traditional first‑year students and their influencers within a specific geographic recruitment area.
- Travels to visit high schools in assigned recruitment area.
- Travels to attend college day/night programs within assigned recruitment area.
- Hosts virtual college information programs in targeted recruitment areas.
- Assists with campus visit programs throughout the year.
- Serves as a liaison to the Ashbrook and Honors programs.
- Serves as a liaison to the Office of Student Success.
- Serves as a liaison to the College of Arts & Sciences and other campus offices for new student recruitment purposes.
- Serves as a member of the Office of Admissions Leadership Team.
- Conducts on‑campus personal visits and group visit presentations for prospective students and their guests.
- Assists Director of Admissions with data analysis through utilization of Othot & Slate, including weekly enrollment reporting.
- Responsible for knowledge of the Slate CRM for communication with prospective students.
- Effective interpersonal and public speaking communication skills.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends or as needed.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to understand and utilize various technology tools for student recruitment and data analytics.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Evidence of collaboration within a campus community.
- Able to communicate with a wide variety of individuals both on and off campus.
- Willingness to travel extensively during the fall and spring months.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends or as needed.
- Possess a sense of humor.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Able to communicate with a wide variety of individuals both on and off campus.
- Willingness to travel extensively during the fall and spring months.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Previous work in higher education admissions office preferred but not required.
