Location: Ashland, OH

MSG is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to perform engineering tasks related to structural, transportation, and site design, from start of projects through final design.

• The study and design of highway structures and bridges.
• Field inspection of transportation structures and bridges.
• Preparation of engineering reports, plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E), engineering calculations, and monitoring work for compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Act as the project engineer or discipline lead for highway and bridge projects, as well as mentor junior engineers and technicians.

• BS or greater in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience with structural engineering, preferably bridge work
• PE required
• Experience with bridge design and analysis
• Knowledgeable in ODOT policies and procedures including the Bridge and Culvert Manual, AASHTO, AISC, ACI, IBC, and ASCE 7 specifications.
