Pay: $17.80 /hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Location: Ashland, Ohio
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire | Eligible for permanent placement after 90 days
Looking for a steady 1st-shift manufacturing job that gets you home by mid-afternoon? Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Production Assemblers in Ashland for a hands-on opportunity with a locally based manufacturer.
Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. If you're dependable, good with you hands, and comfortable learning different jobs throughout production, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do- Assemble manufactured products and components
- Use basic math and measurements to complete work accurately
- Inspect your work for quality and attention to detail
- Learn multiple production and assembly tasks
- Work with teammates to meet daily production goals
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Dependable attendance
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand throughout an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Willingness to learn and rotate between different tasks
- 1st shift only — no 2nd or 3rd shift
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Off by 2:30 PM
- Eligible for permanent placement after 90 days
- No previous manufacturing experience required
- Opportunity to learn multiple production skills
