Unit Supervisor (RN) | Full-Time | Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care | Ohio RN License Required
Kingston Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as a Unit Supervisor in Ohio. In this role, you’ll lead and mentor nursing staff, guide care delivery, and ensure compliance with clinical standards—all while fostering a positive and respectful care environment.
Responsibilities: Provide clinical leadership to LPNs, CNAs, and other care staff. Oversee the coordination and implementation of individualized care plans. Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations, infection control, and patient safety protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social services. Coach and support nursing staff with daily oversight, performance feedback, and training. Promote efficient communication and teamwork across all shifts.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of resident-centered care.
Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio required. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory nursing role strongly preferred. Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing settings. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills. Knowledge of nursing regulations and best practices in senior care. Effective communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
