Specific Responsibilities
Position Title Food Service Systems Coordinator Job Description
Inventory and Vendor Management- Maintain an inventory database containing more than 10,000 items.
- Set up and maintain vendor profiles and product information within the food service management system.
- Ensure product data is accurate, current, and properly categorized.
- Enter and process invoices daily for all Dining Services locations.
- Verify the accuracy of pricing, quantities, and product information entered into the system.
- Maintain organized records and ensure data integrity throughout the invoicing process.
- Maintain a recipe database consisting of more than 6,000 recipes.
- Update recipes when products are discontinued or when new approved products are introduced.
- Create and enter new recipes submitted by the production team, selecting appropriate ingredients and units of measure.
- Build and maintain menus within the food production software system for:
- Student Dining Hall (including four-week menu cycles, summer menus, and specialty menus
- Ensure menus are accurate, updated, and reflective of operational requirements.
- Generate, print, and distribute weekly serving-line worksheets for all dining locations and workstations.
- Support production staff by providing accurate recipes, menu, and inventory information.
- Assist in maintaining smooth communication and data flow between production, purchasing, and management teams.
- H.S. diploma
- Must be familiar with various software applications
- Efficient at data entry
- Attention to detail
- Working independently with the ability to problem solve
Knowledge of Sabre tooth food production software
