Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR at Smart Digital, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities by qualifying inbound leads, reaching out to potential clients, and setting up meetings for our sales team. This position requires a strong communicator with a passion for sales, technology, and security solutions.

Smart Digital is a leading manufacturer of Sentry PODS (Protective Overt Deployable Surveillance), autonomous surveillance solutions designed to enhance security in high‑risk and remote environments. Our innovative products help organizations protect their assets, personnel, and operations with real‑time monitoring and rapid deployment capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through a combination of cold calls, emails, and social selling.
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into solid sales opportunities.
  • Set up and schedule meetings or demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and lead activity in our Hub Spot CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
  • Understand and communicate the benefits of Smart Digital’s Sentry PODS products and security solutions, including systems for surveillance, alarms, access control, and monitoring.
  • Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and ensure their needs are addressed.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly lead generation and appointment‑setting targets.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in the security industry to effectively communicate with prospects.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a sales development or lead generation role is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong ability to engage and build relationships with prospective clients.
  • A self‑starter who is motivated to work independently and achieve goals.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand Smart Digital’s products and services.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude with a passion for technology and security solutions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
