Position SummaryAs a member of an interdisciplinary care team, the Physical Therapist will assess, plan, and provide therapy for a diverse patient population, from post-op inpatients to outpatient orthopedic and neuro patients. You’ll have the freedom to apply evidence-based practices while collaborating with providers and fellow therapists in a team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized care plans for a range of conditions
- Deliver therapy using manual techniques, exercise programs, modalities, and patient education
- Document all assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and timely in the EHR
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and therapy colleagues across disciplines
- Support patient independence through home exercise programs and recovery strategies
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
- Current Oregon Physical Therapist License (or eligible to obtain)
- BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Experience in acute care, swing bed, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused care delivery
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload across ages and diagnoses
- Proficient with electronic medical records and modern therapy software
