Wage: $22.79-$31.92 (depending on experience and certification)
Employment type: Part‑time, hourly
Schedule: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays during the school year and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the summer (8‑hour days)

• Demonstrate competency in all areas of administrative and clinical duties
• Update patient medical records accurately using electronic health records
• Process prescription refills as directed
• Support patients in scheduling and follow‑up of medical appointments
• Provide telephone support and route calls appropriately
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
• Assist providers during exams and procedures
• Administer treatments such as vaccines, EKGs, and laboratory testing as ordered
• Provide patient education as instructed by providers
• Maintain patient and employee information confidentially following HIPAA policies

Required:

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certified by the National Association of Medical Assistants (or equivalent)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
• Proficiency in basic computer software applications
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or one to two years of clinical experience in a medical office
• Experience with Lab Technician work and/or a Lab Technician Certification
• Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
