Associate Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant - Multiple Clinics Southern Oregon
The position will support the delivery of cost‑effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare by following the core values of Providence Medical Group – Justice, Excellence, Dignity, Integrity, and Compassion. Medical Assistants work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner and assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients.
This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks including maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination and assisting physicians with exams, while following established policies, procedures and regulations.
HOME CLINICOpen positions are located at various clinics across Southern Oregon (including Primary Care and Specialty Care Clinics). Specific locations will be discussed during the interview.

Job Skills
- Taking vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure
- Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient medical records
- Performing some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testing
– Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands‑on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, or completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0‑6 months).
– Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months of prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
- 6 months of prior experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Associate Medical Assistant salary range (Oregon): $19.77 – $29.61 per hour.
Medical Assistant– Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands‑on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, or completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces, or minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections and medication administration.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- 6 months healthcare experience.
- 6 months medical assistant experience.
– Preferred Qualifications
- National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
Medical Assistant salary range (Oregon): $20.70 – $31.68 per hour.
Additional CompensationUp to a $2,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment, in addition to the benefits and compensation package that begins on your first day of employment.
