Position: Staff Software Engineer (Healthcare Interoperability, HL7/FHIR)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Architect, design, and develop a cloud-based Clinical Interoperability platform using Go on AWS infrastructure
  • Integrate third-party interface engines to facilitate data exchange between healthcare systems
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR, and regulations like HIPAA
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers in best practices for AWS development and cloud security
  • Collaborate with product, Dev Ops, and clinical informatics teams to ensure interoperability and compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, including 3 years in a technical leadership role
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field
  • Strong proficiency in the Go programming language
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
  • Deep expertise in healthcare interoperability standards, specifically HL7 and FHIR
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience with third-party interface engines such as Mirth, Cloverleaf, and Rhapsody
  • Strong understanding of clinical data exchange workflows and integration patterns
  • Ability to design solutions that ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA)
