Temporary Rvtv Government Meeting Operator appointments that may become available at Southern Oregon University on an as-needed, part-time, and limited-duration basis. The appointment varies in classification, salary, and length, and provides varying levels of operator support. Position

Description:

Video switching operator for Medford City Council and Jackson County Commissioner Meetings.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior experience in media production and/or A/V services.

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior experience operating a video switcher and robotic cameras in a TV control room for LIVE government meetings.
• Tricaster video switcher experience is ideal.

Essential Functions:

Duties - The following examples of typical work activities are meant to illustrate the general range of work functions and are not meant to be all-inclusive or restrictive:

(95%) Work as the control room operator for government meetings, including City of Ashland, City of Medford, Jackson County, and City of Grants Pass meetings as directed.

(5%) Other duties as A/V production or media file transfer duties as assigned
