Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our team. SES is committed to providing sustainable energy solutions to residential, commercial, and utility clients throughout Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and surrounding states.
As an Operations and Maintenance Technician at SES, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and optimal performance of our solar energy systems. You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar panels, inverters, and other system components. Additionally, you will conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address any potential issues.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of solar energy systemsTroubleshoot and repair solar panels, inverters, and other system componentsPerform system monitoring to identify and address underperformance or faultsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performanceCollaborate with the installation team to resolve any technical issuesEnsure compliance with safety standards and protocolsKeep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in operations and maintenance of solar energy systemsMinimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalentCertification in solar energy systems or relevant field is preferred2+ years of experience in operations and maintenance of solar energy systemsStrong technical and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of electrical systems and equipment / Journeyman's Electrical LicenseFamiliarity with solar inverters and monitoring systemsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsMust be able to pass a background checkBenefits
