Responsibilities- This Senior role acts as supervisor to Cyber Security Engineer.
- Manages the planning, execution, mitigation and reporting of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG).
- Oversees Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities at 51 locations, including ongoing vulnerability monitoring and scanning.
- Sets up, operates, and maintains a test lab; tests patches, upgrades and changes before field implementation; responds to system updates and patching failures.
- Maintains 51 existing remote field networks and interacts with vendors as needed (e.g., software vendors).
- Creates and updates RMF-related documentation (e.g., topology, network component inventory, and plans such as Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM)).
- Develops and maintains MS Project Master Schedule; contributes to Program Management Plan and program reporting as needed.
- Works non-business hours when required to avoid disrupting operations.
- Education / Certifications:
Technical BA/BS Degree; IAT Level III related certifications (examples include CASP+, CCNP, CISSP, GCED, GCIH). - Experience:
15 years with BA/BS Degree. - Skills & Technology:
Deep experience across computing environments (system administration, networking/VPN, code development, compute infrastructure, remote maintenance);
DoD RMF process, eMASS, and attainment of system ATOs; development of artifacts for ATO packages; configuration and use of ACAS, STIGs, SCAP, ENS/ESS, MS Defender; scripting and process automation; MS Office and MS Project proficiency; preferred experience with Beyond Trust security software. - Other:
