BC Wood Products is Hiring for the Nailer / Helper position in the manufacture of our pallets. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager for career progression, and is focused on the safety and well-being of themselves and their team.

• Performs all assigned duties in a safe manner without posing a danger to self or others
• Follows verbal and posted safety rules at all time, including wearing the proper PPE for each task
• Willing and able to follow verbal instructions (in English or Spanish) from members of Management
• Assembles pallets, crates and other products using hand tools
• Lifts 50 lbs or more repeatedly throughout 10 hour workdays
• Physical Demands:
• Constant (5-8 hrs/day):
  Standing, Bending, Stooping, Talking, Hearing, Reaching, Lifting & Moving, Carrying, Pushing or Pulling Objects
• Frequent (2-5 hrs/day):
  Walking, Kneeling
• Operate following hand tools for extended periods of time without fatigue:
• Pneumatic nail gun
• Pneumatic staple gun
• High speed electric drill
• Ââ drive impact wrench
• The majority of this work is performed inside, but outside work will occasionally be required
• Other duties as assigned to them.
