Touch of Color Flooring is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive B2B flooring solutions across Builder, Multifamily, Senior Living, and Light Commercial channels. This position is based in Ashland, VA and reports to the Manager of Sales.
Position SummaryOur Outside Sales Reps are responsible for driving sales and leading Touch of Color Flooring into the next chapter of growth. All new sales persons must demonstrate their ability in selling our B2B Flooring Solutions directly into Builder, Multifamily, Senior Living, and Light Commercial channels. Daily activities will include prospecting, providing demos, consultation, collaboration, negotiation, follow‑up and closing new leads.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute on business plans to achieve quarterly sales objectives.
- Proactively identify and strategize ways to capture new critical accounts.
- Be a self‑starter – driven by goals and results.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, trends, products, and business channel.
- Seek out your own leads, appointments and develop new client base.
- Work hard, make money, and enjoy the world of flooring!
- 3+ years of success in B2B Sales.
- Background in Flooring a huge plus, but not required.
- Experience in producing B2B high sales volume.
- A hunter’s mentality with the ability to build and develop rapport and trusted relationships.
- Excellent problem solving, strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
- Ability to confidently deliver presentations and engage with prospects over the phone and in person.
- Solid skills in CRM.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate initiative.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a changing environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional professional presence and strong business acumen.

We serve a variety of channels including Multifamily Living, Student Housing, Commercial Builds, New Home Construction, and Senior Living.

Base salary + Monthly Bonus and Car Allowance. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $200,000.
