General Laborer

Job Description

We are a construction company in the Richmond area that specializes in site work (excavation, underground utilities, etc). We are looking to hire a dependable, hard working general laborer immediately.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to installing silt fence, shovel work, operating jackhammer, digging small trenches, etc. Details will be provided upon interview/hire. Please submit your qualifications and why you think you would be our perfect candidate to the email link.

• Be able to follow instructions and produce quality work.
• Have strong communication skills, bilingual is a plus.
• Have great attention to detail and awareness of deadlines.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Beneficial experience includes:

• Familiar with calculating grades and slope percentages.
• Experience with installing storm drainage, force main water lines, and sanitary preferred.
• Familiar with heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, compaction machines, and skid steers.
