PHYSICIAN - Radiology; Casual - Ashland, WI

Overview

Diagnostic Radiologist needed to provide onsite coverage on an as-needed basis. Solo radiology practice in a smaller community with consultation support from a nearby group of 16 radiologists in Duluth, Minnesota (about 1 ½ hours west of Ashland).

• Ideal practice for work/life balance. Typical workday is 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No call, no weekends.
• Fantastic location to call home.
• Solo radiology practice in a smaller community (consultation support from a nearby group of 16 radiologists in Duluth, Minnesota, about 1 ½ hours west of Ashland).

• Excellent general radiology skills, including mammography, stereotactic biopsies, and procedures in fluoroscopy and ultrasound.
• Basic general interventional capability including paracentesis and thoracentesis.
• BE/BC Radiology.

• Ashland is a progressive small town on the south shore of Lake Superior.
• 70 miles east of Duluth, MN; 200 miles northeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul; 300 miles northwest of Madison.
• Ashland population: 9,000;
  Regional service area: 64,000.
• Live in the town and walk to work, or find that affordable dream house on one of hundreds nearby lakes.
• Sail or motor to the nearby Apostle Islands National Lakeshore; year-round outdoor recreation including hunting, fishing, skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, and snowmobiling.

• $250/Hour. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
